The Lowndes Community Foundation (LCF) is committed to improving the quality of life for the people of Columbus and Lowndes County by connecting people, resources, and ideas to support meaningful, community-driven impact. As an affiliate of the CREATE Foundation, LCF brings together community leaders, nonprofits, businesses, and residents to address the issues that matter most.

Through community conversations and ongoing engagement, five key priority areas have been identified: Community Engagement, Crime & Addiction, Education, Leadership & Vision, and Poverty. These focus areas guide the work of our Task Forces—dedicated volunteers and leaders working collaboratively to create sustainable solutions.
